Crystal Finance Pty Ltd has developed its privacy policy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and the subsequent amendment in 2001 which protects the client and their personal information.

In accordance with our obligations under the Privacy Act, this document advises you of the manner in which your personal information is handled by us.

Personal information is any information which contains the identity of an individual, or from which an individual’s identity can be ascertained.  This includes facts, contact details and opinion (whether true or not).  The information must be in recorded form.

The Act gives individuals the right to be told certain things when their personal information is collected.  It limits the ways in which Crystal Finance Pty Ltd and its members can use and disclose that information, it gives the right to access personal information, and requires the information to be stored securely.

We respect the privacy of your personal information

At all times Crystal Finance Pty Ltd will operate under Legislation and Industry Compliance Standards and Guidelines.

Any authority or consent required by a bank or finance aggregator regarding the collection, use and/or disclosure of clients’ information, must be completed and forwarded to the bank/aggregator with the completed application form.
 
Crystal Finance Pty Ltd will ensure that information is collected and stored in accordance with National Privacy Principle 6.

You have consented to Crystal Finance Pty Ltd and/or its chosen aggregator disclosing the information on your application form to a lender for the purposes of obtaining finance.

We have collected your personal information in order to complete the application for finance. If you do not provide all of the required information, the application may not be considered for approval.

A copy of the application is provided to the lender in order to consider your application, and some of the information on the application is provided to PLAN Australia in order to administer the commission payable by the lender.
